Grape Varietals: Alicante Bouschet (25%), Touriga Nacional (25%),
Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Syrah (25%)
Vinifcation: After the manual selection of whole bunches, the
destemmed grapes ferment in a press with mechanical
treading at controlled temperature (24-28º), followed by
malolactic fermentation. It ages for 9 months in French
and American oak barrels
Tasting Notes: Intense and complex aromas, with peppery notes of
Cabernet combined with wild berries and the smoked
notes of the barrel. Well-bodied, with solid but tamed
tannins, it is full of spunk and brilliance, promising
excellent evolution in the bottle.
A velvety wine, it is best paired with red meat and black pork sausages
